Partner Awards

The Teradata EPIC Partner Awards recognize Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs) who have made outstanding contributions to Teradata and its customers, and who have demonstrated a proven commitment to driving business success through Teradata platforms.

The ISV & SI Collaborative Demand and Partner Driven Wins awards do not require partners to submit nominations.

Category:  Big Data Intelligence

Partner will have leveraged one of Teradata’s new platform technologies including Teradata Aster Discovery Platform or Hadoop.  This solution could leverage new emerging data sources such as Web logs, sensor, etc. or compelling new analytics – digital marketing optimization, new Web path analysis, or other advanced analytics for discovery and new insight.  The solution will provide a unified, high-performance big data analytics system for an enterprise and show measurable return on investment to our customers.  Solution will have delivered valuable insight to lines of business and enable our customers to make time-sensitive decisions by analyzing entire sets of relevant data.

  • Entries in this category must be from a Teradata Systems Integrator (SI) or an active Independent Software Vendor (ISV).
  • The award covers activities occurring between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.
  • Partners may submit no more than one nomination for this category.

Category:  Business Insight

This award recognizes a partner who has developed and implemented a point solution — such as pre-built applications or an industry offer — that uses any analytic data platform, including Teradata, Teradata Aster and/or one of our marketing or analytic applications to deliver analytic insights to customers. This solution must be in production and must deliver measurable return on investment for the customer.

  • Entries in this category must be from an active Teradata Systems Integrator Vendor or Independent Software Vendor.
  • Solutions that have won this Award in previous years are not eligible.
  • Partners may submit no more than one nomination for this category.

Category:  Enterprise Intelligence

This award recognizes a partner who has worked with a customer to build a company-wide solution leveraging a Teradata enterprise data warehouse to drive value.  Teradata should be the underlying platform for the company’s strategic data analysis that is accessed by different departments and a broad user base.   The winning submission must be in production and producing positive results/ROI for the customer. Multiple entries will be accepted, provided they are based on different customer implementations.

  • Entries in this category must be from a Teradata Systems Integrator (SI) or an active Independent Software Vendor (ISV).
  • This initiative will have established a Teradata system as the preferred data warehouse platform environment or could be a joint initiative built in partnership with Teradata (for SI’s only).
  • The award covers activities occurring between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014.

Category:  Collaborative Demand

  • Largest incremental year over year Teradata order growth.
    • Combination of gross $ growth and % growth
  • Time period:  July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
  • Teradata selects winner based on internal metrics.

Category:  ISV Partner-Driven Wins

  • Teradata system is installed at a new customer or in a new footprint and department or division of an existing Teradata customer.
  • Most Teradata (Teradata, Teradata  Aster and/or our marketing or analytic applications) wins during  time period:  July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
  • Teradata selects winner based on internal metrics.

Category:  SI Partner-Driven Wins

  • The Partner-Driven Wins Award recognizes the Systems Integrator (SI) who has driven the most Teradata data warehouse wins during the last year.
  • Time period: July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
  • Teradata selects winner based on internal metrics.
